Michael Watts Weekly Post #13

Alberto Seveso is a Photographer/Illustrator from Milan who is well known for his highly stylized and digitally edited photos.  Although he is known for integrating his illustrative talents into photos of models, some of which being celebrities or athletes, this post is about a more abstract series of photos that he has created.  Seveso creates highly abstract visually appealing compositions by combing various colors of ink and letting them flow or drop into containers of water or oil.  The result is surreal and almost unrecognizable.  The ink becomes something more than just ink, it becomes a sculpture suspended in time.  I am interested in this type of photography because much of it involves a relatively fast shutter speed to achieve and that is something that i have not experimented with yet.  Sometime in the near future i will be looking into experimenting with faster shutter speeds to capture still images of things that may have otherwise been full of motion.
